Well some of you may or may not know that last night the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show was aired on television, this was filmed earlier this month in New York, but last night we all got to see what new creations they have come up with.
Final Walk - Victoria's Fashion Show 2011
The three main models – Lily Aldridge, Alessandra Ambrosio and Miranda Kerr all turned up for a special screening at the Segerstrom Centre For The Arts in Costa Mesa, California, the models are known as the ‘Victoira’s Secret Angels’ and we can see why they would be cast as Models for the underwear giants – Victoria Secrets.

It seemed that everybody wanted to get invovled, Beyonce was seen watching on the front row, the star studded event saw Kanye West, Jay-Z, Maroon 5 and Nicki Minaj give performances.
They also had an impressive Celeb turn out too – Orlando Bloom obviously there to support Miranda, Alexander Wang, Carine Roitfeld, Joe Manganiello (The werewolf in Tru Blood), Donna Karen, Debbie Harry, Cuba Gooding JR. to name but a few.
It is reported that it costs $12 million to stage and takes a full year to bring the show together!!!! Which includes designers, seamstresses, embroiderers, prop makers, and of course what show couldn’t work without the models!!! In fact 38 supermodels, 31 sets of angel wings, Two million crystals and 69 outfits, makes up one hell of a show, I for one would love to of been on the side lines!
Some of the other models that appeared on the catwalk for the show were Adrianan Lima, Erin Heatherton, Doutzen Kroes, Anne Vyalitsyna and Chanel Iman.

All looked stunning and showed of their amazing figures in some wonderfully theatrical creations. The show has six themes running through the Show and you can look at all the collections here

Passion
This is based on a flamenco theme which saw lots of Black and Red.

These are the ‘Passion Play Wings’ which are reported to of taken 7 years to make!!! Worn by Alessandra Ambrosio.

I put a spell on you

Ballet
Romantic and Dream like with a sexy twist. From Degas-inspired demis to lace V-strings they’re a dancers dream come true.
There were again lots of pale pinks and purples with the odd red and lots of lace.

Super Angels
Supermodel meets superhero with bras and panties in bright, eyecatching colours for a playful powerful punch of sexy.

It looks so incredible and you can wear some of the pieces too, I have order from Victoria Secrets before and although does take a little time to get to you is worth the wait, the only thing I would tell you that you may not know is that, when you order over a certain amount from the USA you have to pay taxes at this end, something that caught me out once!!
Such a colourful show that it will keep me going until the next event and as we all know that won’t be far away with our fashion, celebrity world!!

As I reported yesterday the British Fashion Awards were held in London last night at The Savoy Hotel and Theatre!

So then it was all over for another year, but we did see some stars turn up for the event, showing off how Fashion Savvy they may or may not be!!!
Once again, jewellery was played down as it often is on these Red Carpet events, I have a theory that they have to show case the outfits as they are given them for these occasions.
I thought that Kelly Brook looked amazing – I loved how she put the gold belt on the dress and her earrings – gorgeous!!

And just look at Daphne Guinness – She has totally gone the other way and accessorised in every way possible.

It is the British Fashion Awards 2011 tonight Monday 28th November, which is held at the Savoy Hotel and Theatre, recognising the most influential people in fashion today and celebrating the reputation and development of British fashion. British designers and creatives are renowned for their ability to set the global fashion agenda. Each year the British Fashion Awards celebrates their creativity and success.
The British Fashion Awards begins with a drinks reception followed by dinner and then the awards ceremony itself.
